A must-visit town in the Born region, Mimizan stretches along the inlet between Lake Aureilhan and the ocean.
The traditional Landes region market town of Mimizan is nestled in the Landes forest on the lake’s southern banks and is only a 5-6 minute drive or a 15 minute cycle from Camping Landes Bleues.
Continue along the D626 to reach the seaside resort of Mimizan (15 minute drive or 30 minute cycle). With its flower-filled lakeside promenade, seaside events, and hikes along the coastal river, Mimizan offers a huge variety of outdoor activities.
During your stay at our campsite near Mimizan, make sure you explore the heritage buildings in the lakeside Landes market town, relax at beachside restaurants, and enjoy the wide range of water-based activities on offer in Mimizan: jet skiing, kite surfing, land yachting, fishing and swimming.
